Carlos Pena Jr.

Carlos Pena Jr. is ¼ of the band Big Time Rush. He was born August 15^th, 1989 in Columbia, Missouri. At the age of 7 him and his family moved out to Weston, FL and attended The Sagemont Upper School. Carlos found his love in music at the age of 12 he said “It all started with singing”. That lead to him doing Musical theater and more.

In 2003 Carlos went out to California for an acting competition, which went very well. After the competition he signed with an amazing and got a great agent. He was able to guest star on many shows such as E.R., Judging Amy, Summerland, and Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. After graduating high school at the age of 18 he went to Boston Conservatory for Music.

After Carlos found out he had landed the role in Big Time Rush, he decided to move out to the California coast. He was thrilled that he was part of Big Time Rush, The show and the band. Even though the show is over Carlos and the band is still writing music and is hoping to go on tour again soon.

Carlos also has a wonderful and very supportive girlfriend. She is an actor but know as the wonderful Spy Kid. I am wishing them lots of love and support. I also wish them happiness and to ignore the haters and remember what Carlos says on an episode of Big Time Rush “Hating A Hater Makes You A Hater”.
