Chris Fabregas

Chris Fabregas is an amazing actor and model. He played the bear on many episodes of Big Time Rush (A Nickelodeon TV Show). Right now he is well known for his amazing Vines. He has some of the most creative and genius vines ever. He loves his fans so much! He follows as many as he can on Twitter, Vine, and Instagram. He responds all the time and even sends autographs to everyone who has sent him mail and gifts (still waiting for mine LOL). Here are a few of his amazing vines as well as his video clip of a vine on Ellen. Congratulations Chris! Us Rushers are proud!

Karmin

Karmin is a duo made up by Amy and Nick. They started on YouTube doing covers and some originals. The first song I heard them do was their cover Look At Me Know, which they also performed on the Ellen Show. I was lucky enough to see them Live in Atlanta, GA when they opened for The Jonas Brothers. They were amazing and I am so glad they opened with their Hit song Acapella.   I hope to see them again soon! Here is a couple photo's I took in Atlanta, GA.

Big Time Australia

The boys of Big Time Rush are currently in Sydney, Australia where they will be attending the SlimFest for Nickelodeon Australia. This is the boy's first time in Sydney and they are enjoying it to the fullest. They have been to Bondie Beach and wondered around the city. There sound check in Today (Thursday stateside) and can't wait to perform. I hope the boy's have a blast and have safe travels home and for Kendall and Dustin (Heffron Drive Kendall's side band) to be safe in the studio's in Australia and come home soon!

3 amazing Big Time Rush song's

The first song I chose was Young Love. This song isn't on any of the albums but it is a cover that they recorded for their tour. The song is originally sang by Jed-ward  but I love the cover that Big Time Rush did. Many of us were able to hear the song live on their tour, they love to do random covers of songs that they love to listen to and get us to know about and this song was one of them.
Hope you enjoy it!

The second song that I chose is Invisible. Invisible was written by Carlos Pena himself. He said what inspired him to write this song was mostly his fans. He stated "People are always saying "Notice Me" on twitter and I wanted them to know that I do notice them and that they are not INVISIBLE". I personally love this song because it has more than one meaning in the song. It can be about you not being invisible to them or in general life. My favorite line in the song is "Do you ever think of, what your standing at the brink of feel like giving up, but you just can't walk away"It has so much meaning behind it for everyone.

The third song I chose is We Are. We Are is one of the most touching song that us Rushers (Big Time Rush Fans) can listen to. It was aired on the series finale of their TV show Big Time Rush. It is a song that everyone can love. The song has so much love and compassion. It was a goodbye to us.

This song is about chasing your dreams and never giving up. Taking every opportunity that comes your way. A motivator for fans. It was also a big staple for the ending of the show. A reflection song for their Journey.

One of my favorite lines from the song is " Life's to short to sit and wait for luck to come our way, light it up like fireworks I wanna hear you say, We Are".

24/Seven

This video is one of Big Time Rush's newest song. It is from their album 24/7. Many of their song's from this album is featured on their Nickelodeon hit T.V. show Big Time Rush (Season 4). All the songs were pretty much single handily written by the boys themselves. For example, Untouchable was written by Logan Henderson, Kendall Schmidt, and Matt Squire. 24/seven (The song below) was written by Damon Sharpe, Jeremy Skaller, Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, Jamil "Digi" Chammas, Justin Lucas & Ameerah Roelants. I hope you enjoy the song! and let me know what you think!

Why I Choose To Study Music Management

What inspired me to enter this field was one of my idols. Her name is Demi Lovato and she has a successful career. The first time I encountered Demi Lovato was when the movie Camp Rock came out on Disney Channel. When I watched the movie and heard her voice I was blown away, it was beyond amazing to me. To me she is true talent.

Encountering Demi Lovato has affected me in ways you can’t describe. She has gone through so many personal struggles, but she pulled through it while getting help and got back to recording and writing. She is a true idol because of that. She has taught me to stay strong and be your self and don’t let anything stop you from reaching your dreams. While having the support of her friends and family she wrote a song called “Skyscraper” which talks about how to survive through what she did. Two of my favorite lines in the song are “Go on and try to tear me down, I will be rising from the ground like a skyscraper” as well as “All my windows still are broken but I’m standing on my feet” because they both are talking about bringing someone down, but you need to stand on your feet and not let it break you.

Overall the reason I chose to enter this field is to help others find their idols and have them help others like Demi did with me and everyone else that has her as an idol. Everyone in their life deserves someone to look up to and help them through the hard times, even if it is just through music.

Writing has a big part in Artist Management. To me you’ll need it because, you have to be able to write out a contract, write out promotions, book tours, help with licensing, and contracts. According to Mitchell Peters of Billboard Magazine, writing is a central part of negotiation; you must be able to write negotiations about ticket prices, venues, and touring in general (2011). You also need to be able to plan thing out and make sure it is right.  Overall writing is a big part in Artist Management to help you make your dream career happen.

Love, Peace, Music!

Kendall Schmidt

“Find your passion and run with it. Anything is possible.” -Kendall Francis Schmidt
Kendall Francis Schmidt was born on November 2, 1990 in Andover, Kansas to Kent and Kathy Schmidt. Born a Scorpio under the water element, Kendall possesses great determination, motivation, and was destined for a career in the “arts.”

Kendall started in the business at a young age as his two older brothers, Kenneth and Kevin, were both pursuing acting. He would spend 6 months out of each year in Los Angeles with his mother and brothers going on auditions trying to make their “big time break” in to the industry. Kendall’s first role was a Chex Cereal commercial at the age of 5.

Kent and Kathy have always supported their son’s dreams and to make the auditioning process easier for them, the family moved to L.A. when Kendall was 10. That was when he began to book more television roles with guest star spots on General Hospital, Gilmore Girls, ER, CSI: Miami, Ghost Whisperer, and Without A Trace, to name a few.

While working towards his breakout role, Kendall formed a musical duo with good friend Dustin Belt called Heffron Drive. Back in the days of musical acts being signed to record contracts off of the social media outlet MySpace, Heffron Drive released 5 original songs entitled, Better Get To Movin’, Quiet Please, Time Wasting, Stand Forever, and Love Letter.

In 2009, Kendall was given an opportunity of a lifetime when he booked a part as ¼ of the Nickelodeon sitcom/ boy band Big Time Rush.  Kendall had originally auditioned for the role and was turned down, however, after some persistence by fellow band mate, Logan Henderson, Kendall was brought in to fill the last role as the “front man” to the group. And with a simple text to his mother of “I got it…” and encouragement from Dustin, Kendall embarked on a musical journey of a lifetime.

In just 4 short years, Big Time Rush has accomplished more than anyone expected them too. They have completed 4 seasons of the TV show and a movie, released 3 studio albums and a soundtrack that includes covers of The Beatles songs, and toured 3 different times around the United States and select international cities.

Although the TV series is now complete, it will not be the last we see or hear of Big Time Rush. Kendall has been quoted saying “Nothing is holding (the band) back.” Currently, the guys are in talks of recording a new studio album and possibly doing a world tour. They are truly dedicated to their fans and want to make sure that all of their “Rushers” get a chance to see them perform.

Even though Kendall’s break in to the industry was with acting, he has expressed that music is his passion and wants to dive head first in to that. With this free time from filming, Kendall is also revisiting Heffron Drive and has expressed wanting to release new music and possibly tour with the US with Dustin.

Kendall is not only a talented actor and great musician; he is also an amazing songwriter. He has been credited with writing over a dozen Big Time Rush songs from their albums, the original songs for Heffron Drive, and other bands. Along with Logan, Kendall has written a song call “Unarmed” for an Australian boy band, Titanium. He has also written other songs for an Australian female musician and Japanese boy bands.

So whether he is at the forefront or behind the scenes, this triple threat is sure to make musical headlines in the future. And Rushers, Drivers, and Schmidtsters alike are patiently waiting to see what is in store for our idol!
